Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes

In the frame of the mapXXL programme set up by the Pépinières européennes 
pour jeunes  (18 to 34 years) artistes, a selection of videos testifying 
the emerging tendencies in video art will be presented in Biarritz at the 
occasion of the 19th FIPA (International Festival of Audiovisual 
Programmes) and during the Night for emerging creation at the Injep in 
Marly le Roi.

Absolutely aware about the influences, the shifts and the encounters which 
link the language of short fiction and documentary film, video art, dance 
video and animation, the selection will put in evidence the approaches of 
the most promising authors who are able to conduct this mean of expression 
to a new place in the field of creation.

In this context, the Pépinières européennes pour jeunes artistes set up a 
tender for applications open to young artists who express themselves in the 
media of film and video.

The submitted videos are supposed to turn around the subject of « 
influences and shifts » in its most evocative and wide sense.

They must be sent in digital video or high definition format, either in 
DVD, in DV or in Beta SP, and be not longer than 12 minutes.
