   T   occasion we asked the Prague National Gallery to host the exhibitio   n. The director of the gallery, Milan Knizak, conceded this
   hospitality   (suffice it to    the fax machines    Gallery, thus compelling us   National Gallery building). But t   gesture was denying our Producer/Manager,    the National Gallery, for the completely trivia   that Prihoda had dared to criticize one of Knizak   installations during a debate. But the cherry on the cake w   Knizak took, for his own benefit, the money earned from the ent   tickets to the Biennale, a total of 100.000 euros, with the excus   that there was only a verbal, not a written agreement.

   For this second edition, since the very begi   the possibility of working with a person who is    basically unscrupulous, such as Milan Knizak, who us   National Gallery as his own personal feud (and where he h   as if he was a great protagonist of the art scene, close to   room of his own).

   For those who live outside the Czech Republic   Knizak, perhaps a brief introduction    Fluxus artists and certainly not one of   been a bit of a rebel in the past, oppos   systems. D   decades has never done a thing, who in hi   hosted an exhibition of contemporary art apart   passed on to him by local cultural institutes (f   an exhibition of Chinese watercolors) as a respons   unwillingness to work with him anymore, suddenly decided to or   a PRAGUE BIENNALE of his own, knowing perfectly well that the id   behind the biennale and name belonged to us. But it does not end the   re: seeing his total incompetence and that of his staff, apart from
