Dear Filmmaking Friend, Hello from the MadCat Women¹s International Film
Festival. We are currently accepting submissions. Please send us your stuff
or pass this information onto other filmmakers! MadCat exhibits cutting edge
independent and experimental films directed or co-directed by women. We have
2 deadlines April 4 and a final deadline on June 4. We accept all genres of
film and videos and work can be produced any year. We also accept films and
videos about any topic and do not give specific preference to work about
women.

Currently MadCat is touring with a portion of last years festival as we do
every year.  See below for venue information.

The following is a brief listing of MadCat¹s guidelines. An entry form,

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
MADCAT WOMEN¹S INT¹L FILM FESTIVAL (Sept. 5­30) emphasizes innovative works
by women which challenge the use of sound, images, and visual
story-telling. Festival seeks experimental, avant-garde and independent
works of all lengths and genres directed or co-directed by women for Bay
Area events and national touring shows. Formats: Super-8, 16mm, and
35mm film; VHS, SVHS, 3/4², and Beta SP video; mini-DV. VHS for
preview. Sliding scale entry fee: $10­$30. International Entrants Disregard

The MadCat Women's International Film Festival is touring with the programs
TRUTH SEEKERS & NYC, JUST LIKE I PICTURED IT! Curator Ariella Ben-Dov will
be in attendance at many of the screenings to introduce the shows and
participate in question and answer sessions.

NYC, JUST LIKE I PICTURED IT
A series of historical and contemporary films which pay homage to the
architecture, the culture and the pace of New York City.
TRUTH SEEKERS
A series of films that explore the search for understanding, whether of war,
hunting or the nature of community.

MadCat showcases cutting-edge experimental and independent films and videos
