Dear friends of film,

"You always remember the first time" is the motto of the 1st
BERLINALE TALENT CAMPUS, which will take place during the
53rd International Film Festival Berlin from February 10 to
14, 2003, at the House of World Cultures (Haus der Kulturen
der Welt), close to the festival centre.

This unique event offers up to 500 young authors, producers,
directors, cameramen and actors the opportunity to learn
from and discuss with experienced professionals and to
reflect on career perspectives. A five-day program will
touch on the essential issues of film-making: the latest
technical developments, creative tools, stylistic trends,
future markets and philosophical perspectives. The Berlinale
Talent Campus is a platform of know-how and inspiration.

Those interested in applying for the BERLINALE TALENT
CAMPUS, will find the application guidelines and the online
application form at www.berlinale-talentcampus.de

A substantial part of the application is to send in a
mini-film of max. 1 minute. The deadline for application is
December 6, 2002. Participants will be selected at the
discretion of the Berlinale Talent Campus.
