HIGH FALLS FILM FESTIVAL

Submit work: The second annual High Falls Film Festival, dedicated to
celebrating the work of women in film, is soliciting shorts of 20 minutes or
less for this year’s event, to be held in Rochester, New York October
30–November 3. We are seeking films and videos that include women in key
roles such as director, writer, producer and cinematographer. No fee, no
honorarium. Deadline: August 19. Application forms are downloadable from the
festival web site at www.highfallsfilmfestival.com or available by calling
(585) 242-0191. Send submissions (1/2" VHS only) and application form to
Karen vanMeenen, Shorts Programmer, High Falls Film Festival, c/o Little

Deadline: ongoing. Tapes are reviewed monthly.

Video 825, a monthly screening of local and nationally recognized video artists' work, curated by Gallery 825/LAAA and members of the arts community. Video 825 includes experimental, documentary, narrative, conceptual and animation videos and takes place every third Thursday of each month.
