Although a few Croatian artists participated in the international=20
exhibitions, the last group show of Croatian art in Budapest was held as=20
long ago as 1992. This exhibition, coming a decade after the last one, aims=
=20
to give a fresh picture of what s going on in the Croatian art scene.

There is now a growing tendency to seek out new forms of spirituality and a=

rediscovery of ethics in art. The ambition of the exhibition Human / Nature=

is to present the work of Croatian artists involved in this quest. It is=20
about an awareness of how fragile the balance of nature is, how precious=20
local lifestyles are, and how much it all depends on us.
