Subject: [syndicate] artstream: Sounds from Near and Far - Call for submissions

In April 2002, New Media Scotland will present
Sounds from Near and Far, Internet audio artstreams
connecting Sofia, Edinburgh and Liverpool.
Presented as part of the Micro-festival of Digital Culture Sofia 2002, a
collaborative project with the Red House Centre for Culture &
Debate, Interspace Media Art Center and National Fine Arts
Gallery, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Call for sound works from artists from the UK, Bulgaria and across
the globe on the theme of the translocal:
travel, crossing borders, migration, sounds of different cultures and
environments.
Submissions may be one or more works of any duration.
Formats preferred: audio CD, MiniDisc, and mp3 on CD.
Internet streaming will take place throughout the Microfestival.
Broadcasts will be presented live at the National Fine Arts
Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria.

Deadline: 22 March, 2002
