Subject: Film series on the topic "The Daily Life of the Poor"

Invitation.

You are cordially invited to the screening of a selection of prize 
winning  documentary films led by the renown Hungarian  director, Pal 
Schiffer, entitled "The Pictures and Voices from the '90s ".  This 
introductory film series will be followed  by a series on the topic dealing 
with the daily life of the poor in the post-communist Europe, from 
September 2001 on.

For your information please find attached the description of the project, 
within which the screening is taking place.

The first film by Andras Salamon: City People / 1 hour/, will be on 
Thursday, April 26 at 17:00 in the Popper Room ( CEU Nador. u. 9, first 
floor). The next three films will be shown at the same place on the 
following dates:

  Wednesday, May 2, at 17:00 - Tamas Almasi: Barren/ 1 hour

  Wednesday, May 16, at 17:00- Pal Schiffer: Electra or introduction into 
political economy of capitalism /83min/

  Wednesday, May 30, at 17:00- Ivan Vojnar: Garden / 1 hour/

We shall provide you with a more detailed information before each film 
screening.
