Note too that we are a public school, so tuition is lower than most other US universities and colleges. We also have some funds for student projects. In addition,we have now added a new 34 Credit post-graduate Advanced Certificate In Critical Social Practice to the already offered Master of Fine Art degree. I must say too that with the madness coming out of Washington including attempted travel bans we have seen a reduction in the number of foreign students applying to our program and I really want to reverse that trend with your help. Initiated in 2009, this MFA concentration integrates studio work into communities in order to achieve real world outcomes locally and beyond. Currently, students are creating an inter-religious festival with Queens houses of worship to celebrate religious diversity and promote cultural exchange. At the 2014 Venice Biennale, students addressed migrant labor exploitation in the Gulf.
