University of Ideas</b></a> is an educational programme
investigating the relationship between art and the public sphere and
combining theory with practice.</div>

<b>Call for five weekly residential modules grants & one
production prize worth 3000,00 EUR</b> in collaboration with <a
href="http://www.cittadellarte.it/unidee/opencallpartners.html"
>Illycaffè S.p.A.</a><br>
<b>Residency period:</b> variable, April 18-July 15, 2016<br>
<b>Deadline for submissions:</b> March 14, 5 pm CET <br>
<br>
This open call is to partake in joint grant supported by<b> Illycaffè
S.p.A</b>. for five weekly residential modules developed by<b> UNIDEE
- University of Ideas</b> and<b> Cittadellarte - Fondazione
Pistoletto</b>, Biella, Italy. The five selected participants will
take part in a graphic competition for one Production Prize worth
3000,00 EUR for funding research and production of the project
presented in the application. <br>

This open call is to partake in <a
href="http://www.cittadellarte.it/unidee/activity.html?id=78"
>Designing while Walking, Walking while Designing</a>, a weekly
residential module with the mentorship of<b> Martino Gamper</b> and
guest Visible (Matteo Lucchetti and Judith Wielander) developed under
the umbrella of UNIDEE - University of Ideas with the support
of Fondazione Zegna. <br>
<br>
A week of exploration and wandering on the hills of Oasi Zegna in
Trivero (Piedmont region), experimenting with group and individual
dynamics, which feed creative processes. The aim is to design an
object or situation that adds new thinking, interaction and behaviour
to the Oasi.<br>
<br>
A joint jury together with<b> Martino Gamper</b> will select n.8
participants and will attribute residency grants to participants
resulting in the first 4 places of the final list of selected
candidates, as follows:<br>
<br>
<b>Full grants:</b> provided to two participants resulting in the<b>
1st</b> and<b> 2nd places</b> of the final selection
list. <br>
<b>Half grants:</b> provided to two participants resulting in the<b>
3rd</b> and<b> 4th places</b> of the final selection list. The
participation fee is 290,00 euro.<br>
<b>Full fee:</b> participants resulting between the<b> 5th</b> and<b>
8th places</b> of the final selection list. <br>
The participation fee is 570,00 euro.<br>

>Call for two long Research-based Residencies</b></a><br>
<b>Residency period:</b> two months long, during spring or fall
2016<br>
Applications are accepted all the time during the current year.<br>
<br>
The selected residents through the Research-based Residency call can
take part at<b> UNIDEE - University of the Ideas</b> during<b>
spring term</b> (May-July), profiting from the unique opportunity to
be involved in "Arte al Centro," the main event organised by<b>
Cittadellarte - Fondazione Pistoletto</b> scheduled on June 23, or
during<b> fall term</b> (September-November), a particularly
stimulating period at Cittadellarte, where the selected Residents will
have the chance to encounter the art scene in Piedmont region during
the art fair Artissima and its collateral events taking place in
Turin. </div>
<div><br>
The Research-based Residency is unfunded. The programme fee for 2016
is set at 6.000,00 EUR for two months and includes accommodation,
residency coordination, attendance of two weekly residential modules,
and a small budget for project production. <br>
